Terms of Service

1. Overview

WheelieDex is a premium mobile application designed for diecast collectors. The App provides tools for cataloging, tracking, scanning, and analyzing diecast vehicle collections — including Hot Wheels® and related brands. WheelieDex is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mattel, Inc. or any diecast manufacturer.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use WheelieDex. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Account Registration & Authentication

3.1 Account Creation

To access personalized features, you must create an account using one of the following methods:

• Email & Password — You provide an email address and create a password.
• Google Sign-In — Authentication is handled via Google's identity services.
• Sign in with Apple — Authentication is handled via Apple's identity services.
• Anonymous Sign-In — You may browse with limited functionality without providing identity information.

Account authentication is managed by Supabase. By signing in with a third-party provider (Google or Apple), you also agree to the respective provider's terms of service and privacy policy.

3.2 Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Promptly notifying us of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. App Features & Services

WheelieDex provides the following core features:

4.1 Garage (Collection Management)

Track your personal diecast collection. Add, remove, and manage inventory of diecast vehicles. View collection statistics including total cars, unique castings, Treasure Hunts, Super Treasure Hunts, store exclusives, and scanned items.

4.2 Catalog (Vehicle Database)

Browse a comprehensive database of diecast vehicles organized by release year, series, and category. View detailed car specifications including designer, art director, wheel type, body/base/interior/window colors, casting debut year, base material, rarity classification, and more.

4.3 Scanner (OCR Identification)

Use your device's camera to scan diecast vehicle packaging. The App uses on-device text recognition (OCR) to identify vehicles by their printed codes. Scanned items can be automatically added to your collection.

4.4 Radar (Community Hunt Tracker)

View community-sourced sighting data for specific castings. See recent scan activity and hunt counts to identify which diecast vehicles are appearing at retail locations.

4.5 Market Insights & Price Guide

View market pricing data aggregated from third-party sources including eBay sold listings and Amazon product listings. Data includes average market prices, price trends (30-day, 90-day, 1-year), demand scores, sales velocity, price volatility, investment scores, and price tiers. This data is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial or investment advice.

4.6 Portfolio Analytics

View your collection's estimated market value, unrealized profit/loss, return on investment (ROI), collection score, and top movers (gainers and decliners). All valuations are estimates based on publicly available market data and are not guaranteed.

4.7 Hunt List

Create and manage wishlists of diecast vehicles you are actively seeking.

4.8 Trophies & Achievements

Earn trophies and achievements based on your collecting milestones and activity within the App.

4.9 Push Notifications

Receive optional push notifications for Radar alerts (community sighting activity), rare casting alerts, and portfolio milestone alerts. You can enable or disable each notification category in the App's settings. Notifications are delivered via Firebase Cloud Messaging.

5. WheelieDex Pro — Subscription

5.1 Subscription Tiers

WheelieDex offers a premium subscription ("WheelieDex Pro") that unlocks advanced features. Subscriptions are available in the following tiers:

• Monthly — Billed on a recurring monthly basis.
• Yearly — Billed on a recurring annual basis.
• Lifetime — A one-time purchase for permanent access.

Subscription pricing is displayed in the App at the time of purchase and may vary by region.

5.2 Payment Processing

All subscription purchases are processed through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). WheelieDex uses RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements. By subscribing, you also agree to the applicable store's terms of service and payment terms.

5.3 Auto-Renewal

Monthly and Yearly subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription through your device's App Store or Play Store settings.

5.4 Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies. WheelieDex does not directly process refunds for subscription purchases.

5.5 Restoring Purchases

If you reinstall the App or switch devices, you can restore your previous purchases from within the App's settings.

6. User Content & Data

6.1 Your Collection Data

You retain ownership of the collection data you input into WheelieDex (inventory quantities, transaction history, scan history, hunt lists, and notes). We store this data on our servers to provide synchronization across your devices.

6.2 Community Data

Certain anonymized, aggregated data — such as scan counts and sighting trends — may be used to power community features like Radar. Individual scan data is never shared publicly with identifying information.

6.3 Support Tickets

Messages submitted through the in-app support feature are stored on our servers and used solely to address your support requests.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers, databases, or network connections.
• Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the App for commercial purposes.
• Create automated bots or scripts to interact with the App.
• Impersonate another user or misrepresent your identity.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful data through the App.
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense your access to the App or its content.

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 WheelieDex IP

The App, including its design, code, branding, text, graphics, logos, and all other intellectual property, is owned by WheelieDex and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8.2 Third-Party Trademarks

Hot Wheels®, Matchbox®, and all related trademarks are the property of their respective owners (e.g., Mattel, Inc.). WheelieDex is an independent, third-party application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any diecast manufacturer. All trademarks are used for informational and identification purposes only.

8.3 Third-Party Market Data

Market pricing data sourced from eBay and Amazon is aggregated from publicly available information. WheelieDex does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. eBay® and Amazon® are registered trademarks of their respective owners.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• Market pricing data is accurate, complete, or current.
• Collection valuations reflect actual resale or fair market value.
• The OCR scanner will correctly identify all diecast vehicles.

10. Limitation of Liability

• Loss of data or collection records.
• Inaccurate market valuations or pricing data.
• Missed notifications or alerts.
• Unauthorized access to your account.
• Decisions made based on information provided by the App.

11. Third-Party Services

WheelieDex integrates with the following third-party services:

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. WheelieDex is not responsible for the practices or availability of third-party services.

12. Offline Functionality

WheelieDex is designed as an offline-first application. Core features — including browsing your collection and the vehicle catalog — function without an internet connection using locally cached data. Data synchronization occurs automatically when connectivity is restored. We are not responsible for data discrepancies that may arise during prolonged offline periods.

13. Termination

13.1 By You

You may stop using the App at any time. To delete your account, contact us at legal@wheeliedex.com. Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through your device's App Store or Play Store.

13.2 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

13.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your license to use the App is immediately revoked. We may delete your account data after a reasonable retention period. Any active subscriptions should be cancelled by you to avoid further charges.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and may notify you through the App or via push notification. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

16. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered in accordance with applicable rules. You agree to waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in any class action lawsuit.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
